The Smart Cities Research Center (Ci2) of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) pursues applied research to address the inherent challenges of creating Smart and Sustainable Cities and Environments. In its 2025-2029 strategic roadmap, Ci2 commits to advancing research in Intelligent and Pervasive Environments (IPE) and Sustainable Resources Management (SRM), tackling societal and environmental challenges through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
